Valve Cover Gaskets

make it easy to find the ideal gasket to meet specific requirements
for application suitability
Blue Stripe performance valve cover gaskets, which are
thicker than standard light-vehicle gaskets, are made of premium-quality
cork-rubber material that has equal-sized cork particles
evenly distributed throughout a rubber binder. In addition,
the Blue Stripe gasket is compressible to accommodate uneven
surfaces in the repair environment.
Fel-CoPrene Performance valve cover gaskets made with
synthetic rubber typically have a longer life than gaskets made
with cork rubber
Cork-Lam valve cover gaskets with a steel core sandwiched in
between two layers of cork-rubber material. The steel core prevents
movement under high-vacuum or high-pressure operating
conditions, making these gaskets an excellent choice when
high-vacuum or blowout conditions can cause problems.

Head Gaskets
Fel-Pro’s performance head gasket line is the engine repair solution
for high-performance engines. They’re specifically designed
to handle higher compression ratios, special cam timing and
higher operating temperatures. In addition, they’re ideal for
engines that are supercharged, turbocharged or use nitrous
oxide.
The Fel-Pro performance head gasket line includes:
PermaTorqueMLS®
PermaTorque® wire-ring design
In the brutally tough environment that typifies a performance
engine, Fel-Pro performance head gaskets deliver superior sealing
performance.
PermaTorque performance head gaskets include a wire-ring
combustion seal inserted inside the stainless steel armor. This
unique design ensures a highly concentrated seal around the
combustion chamber.
In addition, the rubber/fiber facing material of the gasket is reinforced
with KEVLAR® fiber, laminated to a solid steel core to
resist torque loss and seal fluids.
PermaTorqueMLS multi-layer steel (MLS) head gaskets are
designed and manufactured to handle the special needs of big
power engines — supercharged, nitrous injected or naturally
aspirated.
PermaTorque MLS head gaskets provide the following benefits:
MLS maintains contact pressure between the cylinder head and
block. Seals combustion, oil and coolant despite extreme horizontal
and vertical motion between head and block. Distributes
clamping loads strategically across the entire cylinder head for
optimized sealing.
