The Typhoon manifolds, along with the similar CrossWind, are
the most powerful dual plane manifolds available for a SB Chevy.
For non-pollution controlled street machines, these are among
the very best manifolds you can use. They feature a square bore
carburetor flange, nitrous bosses, four corner water ports, and
dual distributor hold down.

CrossWind
The CrossWind design features the identical plenum and runner
design as the Typhoon. The main difference is that there is an
open area under the plenum chamber. This feature is sometimes
called an air gap design. The air flowing under the plenum provides
a cooler charge for the incoming air with less heat transfer
from the engine. This cooler air charge provides additional
power.

Whirlwind
The Whirlwinds patterned after the popular JDM Type R manifold
with some additional refinements. The plenum chamber has
been lengthened to provide additional plenum volume. Nitrous
bosses are located on the underside of the manifold. The
Whirlwind manifold also features a d65 mm inlet.

the all -new Performer EPS is
optimized to deliver superior
performance with
Edelbrock square-bore performer
series carburetors. All new runner design
that’s “tuned” for peak torque around 3500 rpm and
350 inch engine and it’s ideal for power from off-idle to 5500 rpm.
Dyno test showed peak gains of 5 hp and 9 ft/lbs. of torque over
the Edelbrock Performer manifold #2101 on a 350 Chevy across
the 3000 to 4500 rpm range.
